WIOA Youth Success Story – Sydney Wamsley, Randolph County

Sydney Wamsley was enrolled in the Youth Ready Program on 10/20/23. She attended the Nursing Program at Randolph Technical Center and graduated on 2/16/24. While enrolled in training she worked a part-time job and received a classroom stipend to help support her financially so she could focus on school. On 6/21/24 she obtained her Nursing License. She has been hired at Sharpe’s Hospital as a full-time LPN. She will have state benefits and her starting wage is $26.36.
