Mountaineer RV & Outdoor Center, LLC is a young company trying to build up to big heights, with business operations existing for 3 1/2 short years. “We discovered Region VI Workforce program in our 2nd year of business as a referral from a good friend who had benefited from the program themselves.” said Gina Starett. Since our discovery, Mountaineer RV has utilized this program for On-the-Job Training and Incumbent Worker trainings. We have seen employees’ wages reimbursed by 75% for six-month periods. We have had 90% of training and certification expenses reimbursed as we work to train up our employees each year. and recently, we have partnered with Region VI and their Youth Ready program, a program for young adults facing barriers. our first individual began working with us this month (March 2022) under the Youth Ready Program and we are looking forward to this as this young man strives to overcome barriers and gain skills in the workplace all the while Mountaineer RV is pouring into this individual at no expense. This individual’s labor is being provided through the Youth Ready program and the greatest benefit yet for Mountaineer RV is we have the opportunity to help build up a young man. We are beyond thankful for all the programs offered through Region VI and credit these programs as part of our success!
