Hilary was enrolled in the Youth Ready Program on 9/17/20. Hilary is a single mother of 6 year old twin boys. While enrolled she received a class stipend while attending cosmetology classes at Fred Eberle Technical Center. She completed the cosmetology program and obtained her diploma and cosmetology license in November 2021. She also obtained several measurable skills gains including OSHA 10 certificate, Shear Tool Certificate, and Satisfactory Progress Reports. She also received support services which included a purchase of an eyelash extension certification course and necessary supplies; Hilary continues to work on course.
While attending classes Hilary also worked on an Occupational Exploration (OE) contract at Smart Style Salon in Buckhannon as a receptionist. Once Hilary obtained her cosmetology license she then transitioned off the Occupational Exploration to full-time employment as a cosmetologist where she is currently employed.

Through this program I was able to go after my lifelong dream of being a cosmetologist. I would have not been able to afford the schooling without the help of the Youth Program. Crystal Replogle has been a huge help to me through the Youth Ready Program. She has went out of her way more times than I can count not just for me but I’ve seen her do it for others as well! She is always right on top of things and I appreciate her more than she knows!!”
